Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon

We are looking for full-time or part-time Veterinary Surgeons to join our fun, friendly and highly supportive team. We have seven well-established RCVS accredited surgeries and hospital with digital radiography, video endoscopy, ultrasound and in-house labs. Great support from certificate holders in surgery, medicine and diagnostic imaging. Newly installed CT and 24-hour on-site nursing support at our hospital with on-site accommodation available for the duty team.

Two years’ clinical experience preferred. Recent graduate considered. Great salary package includes 5 weeks holiday plus Bank Holidays, medical insurance, RCVS and VDS fee paid. Duty rota, currently 1-in-17, ensures a good work-life balance. CPD and certificate ambitions encouraged and supported with enhanced CPD funding.

Registered Veterinary Nurse

We are currently seeking a dynamic RVN, dedicated to providing high standards of patient and client care for permanent, full time (35 hours per week) role.

The position will involve working at our Heathcote surgery and will also include some out of hours work. This would suit a self-motivated registered VN with their own transport who is keen to develop their skills. In return we offer a competitive salary, relaxed 1:14 weekend & 1:8 nights rota (paid as overtime) plus Saturday mornings as required, private healthcare, CPD encouraged and funded plus a staff discount.

Student Veterinary Nursing Placements

We are recognised by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons as a training practice for Veterinary Nurses. Placement opportunities are limited to ensure the quality of support and training for each student. Applicants should apply to the Head Nurse at their preferred surgery giving as much detail about relevant work and animal care experience as possible. Please also include a current copy of your C.V.

Work Experience

One and two-week work experience placements are available for selected periods at all our surgeries. We get a huge number of applications. Applicants should apply to the Head Nurse with as much flexibility and notice of preferred dates as possible. We offer suitable applicants an informal interview and select only those students we feel are committed to getting the most from the opportunity offered.
