Welcome to our Southam Surgery, a purpose-built veterinary practice in 2011. We have been serving the local community in Southam since 1975. Our well-established team, comprising skilled vets and nurses, brings a wealth of professional experience to the forefront of veterinary care. Our team is proficient in small animal medicine and surgery, with additional specialisations to cater to diverse needs. Penny Graham has a special interest in acupuncture and Andrea Davies in feline medicine. This has resulted in other local surgeries taking advantage of our knowledge and specialist equipment and we regularly accept referrals from the other Avonvale surgeries as well as other local vets in Warwick, Rugby and Towcester.
We strive to offer a friendly and professional service for all our local pets. With a vet and qualified Veterinary Nurses on hand during normal opening hours, we ensure immediate care for inpatients and emergencies. Our comprehensive package of care includes nurse clinics, on-site imaging, diagnostic laboratory and surgical facilities as well as separate dog and cat wards. Here at Southam we now offer regular 'Cat Only Clinics' where there will be no dogs booked in for appointments at that time, so your feline friend can wait comfortably in our waiting area without any additional anxiety or stress.
All surgeries can be performed at Southam, eliminating the need for unnecessary travel. Most cases can be sent home on the same day after the surgery or imaging. For ongoing intensive care treatment and emergencies at night or weekends, our own ambulance service connects us to our 24-hour Hospital unit in Warwick. Our Southam surgery has ample parking for clients in front of the surgery and offers wheelchair-friendly access for the convenience of our clients.
