Little Walle had a very sore eye. It kept watering and he was holding it closed. He went to see vet Mark at our Southam surgery.
Mark found that Walle had several tiny ingrowing hairs on the inside of his eyelid. These were rubbing against Walle's eye and causing the problem.
Walle was given a general anaesthetic and once he was asleep Mark was able to remove the hairs and their follicles so that they would not grow back again. Walle came into the surgery with his toy Koala who kept him company throughout the day to help Walle feel safe.
Within 5 days of the operation Walle was already much more comfortable and happier in himself.
