Our ambulance has been specially fitted out with secure travel cages for both dogs and cats.
It has been designed to accommodate a stretcher and carries a ramp to assist access for larger dogs.
The ambulance is primarily used for transporting sick pets safely to and from our Warwick Hospital for overnight care or specialist treatment.
It has also been used on several occasions for pets involved in road traffic accident emergencies where the prompt treatment by our vets on the scene or rapid transfer to our hospital has saved animal lives.
