Our Out of Hours service is staffed by Avonvale vets and nurses at our own Animal Hospital in Warwick.
This service is available to all our registered clients.
The Out of Hours Service operates:
- Weekdays overnight: 6.30pm to 8.30am
- Saturdays: 5pm through to Mondays 8.30am
(except for Bank Holidays when the Out of Hours Service continues all day)

Your call will be answered by our Out of Hours telephone operator who will take brief details and arrange for our Avonvale duty vet to call you back.
If your pet needs urgent treatment our Avonvale vet on duty will arrange to meet you at our Warwick Animal Hospital where there is a complete range of equipment, medication and an experienced veterinary nurse standing by to look after your pet, no matter what time of day it is.
The duty vet will agree an estimated arrival time with you and ask you to come to the side Emergency Entrance door and ring the bell. Please note that no admission will be allowed without prior arrangement with the duty vet.
A fixed out of hours attendance fee is applied if your pet needs to see the vet outside our normal opening hours. This fee is in addition to our usual veterinary consultation fee and any treatment or medication required. The duty vet will inform you of this in advance and you will be expected to pay this at the time of treatment. We offer a reduced fee to our registered Avonvale clients.
