This is Bambina, a muntjac deer seen at our Southam surgery. She was rescued as a baby when her mother was sadly hit by a car in last year and is being looked after by the family who rescued her. She lives on their lawn, and has made best friends with the family's dogs.
Bambina was attacked by a fox one evening. The family's dogs Teddy and Tilly chased the fox off but Bambina was left with wounds on her face.
She was seen by Mark out our Southam surgery who gave her an antibiotic to help her wounds heal. She's now recovering really well and is back to prancing on the lawn, but it is hoped she will eventually be able to return to the wild.
